View Menu

The View Menu is concerned with how the document, and the program for that matter, appears on the screen. Various magnification levels are available in the first group of commands. Windows is not a short cut to the operating system but shows a list of all open documents.

The next group allows you to show or hide Rulers, Guides etc. and Invisibles - (Formatting characters like Tabs and Paragraph Headers). The final group determines how many or how few of the Palettes you have open at any one time.
