The Measurement Palettes

Apart from the Tools Palette, the most useful Palette to have open while you are working is the Measurement Palette. This palette changes depending on what Item you have selected - Text Box, Picture Box or Line. The three variations are shown below.

Advantages

Every function on the Measurement Palette can be accessed from the Item Menu, but as you become more proficent, you will find that the Measurement Palette will speed up your work enormously. It will allow you to provide a range of style changes often with a simple click of the mouse.
