Edit Menu
The Edit Menu is concerned with changes to Items within Xpress. The first item on the menu lets you know whether the last operation can be undone. Command Z - one to remember. The next group has the usual Cut, Copy, Paste commands common to most programs.
The Subscribe options are a wonderful feature which allow you to Automatically Update pictures that you have used in your image. The Dialog Box that appears will give you a number of options to achieve this. The Find/Change feature saves the horrible task of having to search every page of a 100 page document for the same mistake. Find it and Change it - Q.E.D.
Next we have the Preferences for the program - here you can basically customise Xpress to suit yourself by choosing options relating to measurements, guides, display and a whole host of others - spend some time here exploring the options, find out what works for you.
Finally, the entries dealing with colours, style sheets and H&J's. Each of these opens a Dialog Box enabling you to specify settings. Colour and Style Sheets are dealt with elsewhere, H&J's refer to Hypenation and Justification - you can see why the initials are used!
